Why
not? What if we told you that
you can have all 3 processors
in one ½ din unit? Yup,
it's true! The BX-4EQ is not in
stock and shipping…
Many people love bass enhancers
to help restore lost bass in old
recordings or when using an iPod.
Having a complicated EQ can also
do the job but they are very expensive
and do not give you the parametric
controls sometimes needed to achieve
the desired effect. The new BX-4EQ
makes everything very easy and
keeps the cost way down as compared
to 3 separate processors. |
There
are 3 fixed frequency EQ bands
for LOW, MID and HIGH at +/- 18dB.
Pretty simple so far, right? The
bass enhancer section allows you
to Sweep for a desired frequency
between 27Hz and 63Hz, and then
adjusts the Width, or Q (shape)
of the boost. Also in this section
is a subsonic filter for protecting
your woofers that is variable
from 35Hz to 80Hz. Still pretty
easy, huh? There is a Master Volume
control, Fader and separate Sub
Volume to make tuning a breeze.
On the
top of the unit you will a switch
to allow balanced or unbalanced
signal inputs. You also have the
option of 2.5, 5, 7.5 or 10Volt
signal outputs for the subwoofer
to get everything tonally balanced.
Finally,
on the front of the unit, you
have an Aux in jack for MP3 players
and a switch to go from the main
source unit to the MP3 player
in a split second.
