About Installation: Spending
15 years around the show circuit,
either showing my own vehicle
or supporting
friends, one thing is certain,
auto sound flows through my veins!
At home in "Bass Town"
Miami FL, the concept is “He,
who has the loudest car, is king.”
Somehow I was always on top of
other competitor target lists!
I still love the show, but have
become a fan of the purist sound.
I recently purchased a new ‘08
Accord Coupe and swore “I’m
not doing anything to this car.
Two weeks later, while at Spring
Break Nationals visiting a fellow
SQ competitor, I met up with Soundstream’s
Team Coordinator Grizz Archer,
who accidentally said “We
need an SQ car on the team.”
I approached him with the vehicle
concept, and soon the days of
“stock audio” were
over. Today, the Black Widow Accord
earns props as the first 8th gen
Accord on the show circuit. While
finishing the build, my father
was diagnosed with cancer. These
health issues nearly jeopardized
the vehicle completion and attendance
at Spring Break Nationals. Had
it not been for the support of
my family and friends, the car
would not have made it."Black
Widow Accord” is the first
sound quality vehicle to place
in the top 3 for Soundstream in
over a decade. Thank you to my
friends, family, and teammates,
you are my ROCK! I dedicate this
competition season to my father,
who has been my biggest supporter.
This year is dubbed "Year
of the Judge!”

Mars Audio
Competition
History: 2 Yrs.
The decision to take on the project
of a street-able demo vehicle was
not easy, however I found it necessary
to include the two most popular
aftermarket industries. I came up
with this design that would reach
not only the “Audiophile,”
but the “Autophile”
as well. To do this, I contacted
the most popular names in the industry.
Most were intrigued to see how “Mars
Audio, Sound and Beyond” was
going to become known for speed
and performance. After three months
of continuous contact, the manufacturers
chosen for the build were on board,
and off I went. The first 6 months
of the build was receiving and installing
products direct from Japan. The
remaining half of the year was planning
and building the trunk area. After
building one enclosure that did
not work, I relied on a long time
friend Jason Rockefeller who suggested
the alternate plan. This concept
has been a huge success and I can
not express enough appreciation
to those who brought it to reality!
