It all started at the fresh age of 12 with my first issue of MINITRUCKIN magazine. I thought it was cool to build mini trucks, show off sponsors products, and be featured in magazines. I knew then what would become my obsession, build one of the hottest daily driven mini trucks. I was 18 when I bought my first mini, a 1993 Mazda B2200. Shortly after the build was complete, I was hit by a drunk driver and lost the truck. After a painstaking month, I bought a 1993 Nissan Hardbody and started building. I slammed it, threw on 17" wheels, converted it to a hard top convertible, and had it custom painted. For in-car entertainment, it was all about Soundstream. Unfortunately I later had to sell it off.

Since then, my current project has become a daily driven 2003 Mitsubishi Eclipse. I purchased the Eclipse with the intent of a bigger and better build than the minis, so I sought out some help. My first points of contact were to the likes of Soundstream Technologies, Corbeau Seats, Optima Batteries, and Dg Industries. Those initial solicits have led to a Vis Racing Sports body kit with carbon fiber wing, Corbeau racing seats with 5 point harnesses & a Dg Industries harness bar. Ohio Generator provided a 200 amp alternator, Optima supplied a Yellow-top, and Tenzo-R offered a set of 18" wheels. Thanks to Eibach Springs for the aggressive stance, and KYB Shocks & Struts for their AGX series adjustable struts. Other mods include a custom floating hood, custom vinyl graphics, black projector headlights with 10,000k HID's, black LED taillights, & crystal clear bumper & reverse lights. |
For the in-car entertainment system, I enlisted the expertise of Blazin Auto in Greencastle, PA. Their install consists of a Pioneer double-din head-unit, custom fiberglass door panels with two sets of Soundstream Reference RF-6OCs, a custom fiberglass sub enclosure with two Soundstream SPLX-152's, floating amp rack for three Soundstream Tarantula TRX amps, three SCELL-1000s, an XBP-10, VAV-4, two VSV-78 sun visor monitors, and a PS2. The sun visors and headliner were wrapped in grey suede, and all fiberglass parts were painted to match the exterior. |

I have been fortunate to be featured in Street Trendz magazine, several posters & postcards and was an October feature in the Girls of the Mason Dixon 2010 calendar. It was also the booth car at Street Rave car show on July 17th 2010 for the Mason Dixon model girls.

I would also like to thank Justin Good at Redline Designs, Gus at Ohio Generators and the guys at Blazin Auto (Dave, Ryan and Jason) for all of your help. To my father that passed away on July 20th 2010, you will always be missed. |
