How many people go to the dealership with a tape measure to make sure that their system will fit into their new car, or have a 4 door car but can only carry 2 people?  I’m that kind of person that will sacrifice some space to have an incredible system.  I am confident in saying that I have the loudest Chevy HHR, and I don’t even have a wall in it!  Being an experienced competitor of over 5 years now including 2 DB Drag World Finals and its time to take it to another level!  I’ve done 155 db so far this year and looking for more.  So be on the lookout MECA and DB Drag World Finals.

It all started with making room for a big subwoofer box, so first goes the rear seat, spare tire, and some plastic panels.  Next build a sturdy enclosure, every wall at least 1.5” thick and a full 3” thick subwoofer baffle.  I then added some 2x4’s and even a 1” diameter pipe as a vertical support.  I next constructed a battery rack for my nine 16 volt batteries.  Unfortunately I don’t have the needed space for adding more alternators on, so I went with as many batteries as I could afford.  I love the SoundStream XXX series amps. They have been very powerful and are some tough amps.  I previously owned the 6500 series and just stepped up the 15000D and it loves 16 volts.  I also own some super loud tweeters, SST-05 that are powered by a Pink Rubicon 4 channel amp.  That’s right its pink and it matches my “Honk If You Heart TA TA’s” sticker on the back window.

The outside also has some upgrades. I have blacked out the wheels, grill, and emblems for a cleaner look.  Also I got a matching color SoundStream across the windshield to let everyone know who I represent.  Also I added a cold air intake to make up for the extra 500 pounds of sounds.

Also a big shout out to Grizz at Soundstream and Scotty J at XS Power for wicked awesome products.
