My Name is Chris Peterson and I am from Turlock, CA. My car audio and show truck journey started at age 15. When I purchased my truck, it had a 6-inch lift, 35-inch tires, and an alpine deck. Before I even had a license, I put my very first stereo in the truck. It consisted of two earthquake shallow mount 15s in a sealed enclosure, crossfire 6.5s, and crossfire 4x6’s. This system lasted about 6 months then I changed to three shallow mount 12’s. I quickly discovered I had a car audio obsession, by the age of 17 I decided it was time for a cut threw. At this time, I started using Soundstream products in my truck. I Put in 4 T4-12’s, 2 Soundstream PCA 2000D’swith all sst series mids and highs. I managed to keep this setup in my truck for a year. When I decided to really change the look of the truck by adding the lift and doing the interior (the first time), I added one more 12 in the Center Console and switched to Rubicon Amps. This was the last setup I had before I became an official team member, the stereo still was not enough, and I wanted to be louder! In May of 2010, I decided to write Grizz and see about the possibility of obtaining a sponsorship to further my stereo build. Fortunately, Grizz was open to the idea and placed me on the team and he is a huge reason the stereo has reached the point it has for the 2011 show season. I would like to thank a few people, who have played a huge part in the build of my truck; first, I want to thank my installer Steve Trevizo of Konnections Car Audio(Turlock,CA), without him none of these systems would ever have been done. I also want to say thank you to Chris “Grizz” Archer for allowing me the opportunity to be a part of the best car audio team there is, TEAM SOUNDSTREAM! Also would like to thank Nathan at XS Power for sponsoring me for my battery power, which is much needed. Thank you to Tom at Ohio Generators for the amazing alternator setup and the insane power output from them. Last but not least thank you to Ravi Toor at Altered Attitude for the mechanical portion of the truck. I’m Constantly changing and upgrading and the truck is still not done! Still going bigger on the system sooner than later and I cannot wait!
