I have been into the custom car scene for as long as I can remember. When I wanted to really do a full all out custom car I went to a local dealership and told them I had to have a civic, and that night I came home in my 1996 Honda Civic it did not stay stock for long I quickley changed the wheels and air inake. With the help from my parents my dad and I started to look at body kits and we found a perfect match and it is the current kit I have now. From there I knew I needed to lower the car so I purchased a set of coilovers I was not satisfied with how the car sat I wanted it lower so the next step was air ride which I still currentley have. After I had the outside done and looking good the next thing I knew I had to have was a good quality system with bass. That year I went to my first show competion with my civic and took 2nd place at Spring Break Nationals that was just the beginig for me from there I was going to car shows almost every weekend and competing and winning. In 2006 I was at Spring Break Nationals again and this year I did not place and was upset about this while there I noticed a school for customizing cars. I went to Installer Institute in April of 2006 and upon graduation I started working at a local custom shop, and they sold Soundstream this was the first time I ever really seen or heard of the company and was greatley impressed. After Iheard the systems we where installing at the shop using Soundstream I knew I had to have it after much research I decided on what I was buying and I have not looked back since. In the spring of 2008 I made a huge descion to take a year off from showing my car and get a full one off custom paint job. I contacted my friend in Kissimmee Florida Nick at DB Customs to take the car and work his magic while my car was there being painted I was doing all the fiberglass work on the doors and the custom speaker box. When I got my car back inearly 2009 I was impressed it was the first time I was able to see the paint job and it was amazing. I missed a few big shows that year but I still was able to go compete and some local shows and took home a number of trophies. In 2010 was the first year I got to show my car at Spring Break Nationals and took home a second place trophie. I think a feature of my car that makes it unique is the 5" t.v. monitor in the stearing wheel to go along with the 7" soundstream monirors in both visors as well as in the center console. My system I know it is not the loudest but I build it for the sound quality even though I have won a few sound competions.
I want to give a special thanks to my wife and son for all their support and especially my parents who use to let me use their garage to do my fiberglass work and just up late working on getting the car ready for the next competion and to Nick at DB Customs for the awesome paint job, and last but not least to Soundstream for all their help and support.
