Whats up everyone?  I am  Allen, I come from a small town in northern Michigan called Kalkaska. I was introduced to car audio when I was 16. The shop that performed my work was amazing and educated my friend Nick and myself through the years. I have had a pretty great system in every car I have ever owned or drove. I moved to Indianapolis in 2007 and quickly jumped into the car scene. I found a local shop with great owners and we quickly became friends.  The shop knew of my passion for noise and decided to help me make a demo car for their shop and for my enjoyment. The shop at the time was Sinister autosports; Mike and Tyler were the owners and they did great work.  Not only did they do great work but they taught me how to build and install with professional quality.  Sinister Autosports needed a larger building for all of the work they had coming in and Mad Mike set out to go big. Mike opened a new shop called Asylum Autowerks, this is where I still go for installation and builds. Mike had a dream for my car and he made it come true. He put 4 Orion HCCA 15s powered by 2 soundstream 6500s in the back seat of my 3 series bmw. After cracking the windshield, deafening myself, and a room full of trophies I decided to build something less insane, something that would allow a car seat maybe one day.   Thanks to Grizz and team Soundstream I now have began to prepare my new arsenal.  I redesigned my car completely and installed a lot of performance mods therefore I wanted to keep weight down but not sacrifice sound completely. My new setup for this year is 3 12” R1 drivers, on a 2600 watt amp, prob 20 speakers on my mids and highs on 2 soundstream 4 channel amps. Hopefully this will suffice my addiction to extreme audio. If not….. There may be a wall coming in the near future.
